The Spanish cult band Eskorzo is going on an extensive European tour in 2024 to present live on stage its new album “Historias de Amor y otras Mierdas” (Maracuyeah! & Calaverita Records, release 11/2023).

Anyone who loves energetic and sweaty live concerts, musical diversity and bands such as The Cat Empire, Manu Chao, Gogol Bordello or Chico Trujillo should definitely not miss Eskorzo!

The legendary band from Granada, formed in 1995, was a pioneer of the ‘Mestizo’ movement in Spain, fusing with its particular musical vision styles as diverse as Cumbia, Afrobeat, Gypsy-Punk, Reggae, Ska, Funk and Jazz.

Influenced by artists like Fishbone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Talking Heads, Mano Negra or Fabulosos Cadillacs, Eskorzo today has become one of the reference bands of a musical fusion at the highest level. The seven musicians not only work like a precise clockwork on stage but also shjow extraordinary joy and madness on stage. A pump of adrenaline, energy and sweat that leads the audience to a collective catharsis, be it at a rock, jazz or world music festival. With more than a thousand concerts worldwide throughout its existence, eight recordings to date and more than 28 years of musical career, Eskorzo continues to break new ground and is considered one of the most exciting and authentic proposals on the current scene.
