Pedra Lançada é o evento de lançamento do livro-oráculo ‘Pedra y Apocalypso’ de Luara Raio. O gesto de lançar implica impacto e recepção. Implica vibração e reverberação, quebra, fratura, estilhaçamento, atravessamento. O título faz referência ao provérbio de matriz religiosa Afro-brasileira que diz ‘Exú matou um pássaro ontem com uma pedra que atirou hoje.’ Nesse dia, receberemos e atiraremos pedras na encruzilhada entre dança, palavra, espiritualidade e performance, celebrando e conjurando mundos para lançar feitiços na espiral de tempo.

“Proponho lançar palavras no seu ouvido como se jogasse uma pedra na água. O impacto rasga a superfície e cria ondas que vibram até a margem, da margem as ondas voltam até centro e começam a reverberar o impacto umas nas outras. Enquanto isso, a pedra atinge o fundo.”

Será um evento de 4 horas, com uma performance-ativação de Pedra y Apocalypso, por Luara Raio, uma performance do artista convidado Luan Okun, e para fechar, bateção de raba no djsexy finíssimo de SoundPreta. Teremos também estande aberto pra venda de edições de artistas LGBTQIAP+ e artistas racializades.

Pedra lançada is the launching event of the book-oracle “Pedra y Apocalypso” by Luara Raio. The gesture of throwing implies impact and reception. It implies vibration and reverberation, as well as breakage, fracture, shattering, crossing. The title makes reference to the proverb of the Afro-Brazilian religion which reads: ‘Exú killed a bird yesterday with a stone that he threw today.’ On this day, we will receive and throw stones at the crossroads between dance, word, spirituality and performance celebrating and conjuring worlds to cast spells in the spiral of time.

“I propose to throw words in your ear like throwing a stone into water. The impact rips the surface and creates waves that vibrate to the shore, from the shore the waves return to center and begin to reverberate the impact off each other. Meanwhile the stone hits the bottom.”

Pedra Lançada will be a 4-hour event, with a performance-activation of Pedra y Apocalypso by Luara Raio, a performance by guest artist Luan Okun, and to close it off, some fine djsexy beats by SoundPreta. We’ll also have an open stand to sell releases by LGBTQIAP+ artists and racialized artists.
