Olá! Eu sou Anna, uma vocalista e compositora de jazz da Suécia. formei-me no programa de músicos da Skurup Folkhögskola em 2000 e trabalho profissionalmente como freelancer desde então. Também produzo e faço arranjos musicais, para meus próprios projetos e outros.

Anna Lundqvist Quintet é minha banda principal. Junto com ALQ lancei cinco álbuns; 2009 ‘Borderline fiesta’, 2010 ‘City’ e 2012 ‘Antes de você eu estava quase bem’. Em abril de 2015 completamos 10 anos com o álbum ‘TEN’ e em 2017 lançamos nosso quinto álbum ‘MEWE’ (Prophone/NAXOS) – um grande sucesso mundial e ainda por cima ‘MEWE’ e ALQ foram indicados para “Jazz of The Year 2018” no prestigiado Manifestgalan em Estocolmo.

Além do ALQ lidero também a Anna Lundqvist Lisboa Cinco, uma banda de Lisboa, Portugal. Adoro este lugar, é como uma segunda casa e tento passar o máximo de tempo possível. Também tenho uma dupla com o pianista Jonas André, e juntos lançamos nosso álbum de estreia ‘Reunion’ em maio de 2020. A dupla é sediada em Estocolmo.

Eu moro em Estocolmo, onde nasci, mas cresci em uma pequena cidade chamada Mellerud, no lado oeste da Suécia. Trabalho meio período como diretor artístico na Vänersborg Jazz Academy, como coordenador de estúdio no Yardhouse Studio (Estocolmo) e como freelancer em projetos musicais temporários. Também faço trabalhos freelance, ensinando técnicas vocais, jazz/improvisação, ensemble e composição, tanto na Suécia como no estrangeiro em universidades e outras organizações/escolas ___________________

Hi! I’m Anna, a jazz vocalist and composer from Sweden. I graduated from the musicians program at Skurup Folkhögskola in 2000 and I have worked professionally as a freelancer ever since. I also produce and arrange music, for my own projects and others.

Anna Lundqvist Quintet is my main band. Together with ALQ I’ve released five albums; 2009 ‘Borderline fiesta’, 2010 ‘City’, and 2012 ‘Before you I was almost fine’. In April 2015 we had our 10 year anniversary with the album ‘TEN’ and in 2017 we released our fifth album ‘MEWE’ (Prophone/NAXOS) – a huge success world wide and on top of that ‘MEWE’ and ALQ got nominated for “Jazz of The Year 2018” at the prestigious Manifestgalan in Stockholm.

Besides ALQ I also lead Anna Lundqvist Lisboa Cinco, a band from Lisbon, Portugal. I love this place, it’s like a second home and I try to spend as much time there as possible. I also have a duo together with pianist Jonas André, and together we released our debut album ‘Reunion’ in May 2020. The duo is based in Stockholm.

I live in Stockholm, where I was born, but I grew up in a small town called Mellerud, on the western side of Sweden. I work part time as an artistic director at Vänersborg Jazz Academy, as a studio coordinator at Yardhouse Studio (Stockholm) and as a freelancer in temporary musical projects. I also do freelance assignments, teaching vocal techniques, jazz/improvisation, ensemble and composing, both in Sweden and abroad at universities and other organisations/schools.

Je suis Anna, une chanteuse et compositrice de jazz suédoise. Je suis diplômé du programme de musicien Skurup Folkhögskola en 2000 et depuis, je travaille professionnellement en tant qu’indépendant. Je produis et arrange aussi de la musique, pour mes propres projets et pour d’autres.

Anna Lundqvist Quintet est mon groupe principal. Avec ALQ, j’ai sorti cinq albums ; 2009 ‘Borderline fiesta’, 2010 ‘City’ et 2012 ‘Before you j’étais presque bien’. En avril 2015, nous avons terminé 10 ans avec l’album ‘TEN’ et en 2017 nous avons sorti notre cinquième album ‘MEWE’ (Prophone/NAXOS) – un grand succès mondial et en plus de cela ‘MEWE’ et ALQ ont été nominés pour ‘Jazz of The Year’ 2018” au prestigieux Manifestgalan de Stockholm.

Outre ALQ, je dirige également Anna Lundqvist Lisboa Cinco, un groupe de Lisbonne, au Portugal. J’adore cet endroit, c’est comme une deuxième maison et j’essaie d’y passer le plus de temps possible. J’ai aussi un duo avec le pianiste Jonas André, et ensemble nous avons sorti notre premier album ‘Reunion’ en mai 2020. Le duo est basé à Stockholm.

Je vis à Stockholm où je suis né mais j’ai grandi dans une petite ville appelée Mellerud à l’ouest de la Suède. Je travaille à temps partiel en tant que directeur artistique à la Vänersborg Jazz Academy, en tant que coordinateur de studio au Yardhouse Studio (Stockholm) et en tant que pigiste sur des projets musicaux temporaires. Je fais également du travail indépendant, enseignant les techniques vocales, le jazz/improvisation, l’ensemble et la composition, en Suède et à l’étranger dans des universités et d’autres organisations/écoles.
