A exposição Lindley Cintra 100 Anos celebra o centenário de Luís Filipe Lindley Cintra, um dos mais ilustres professores da Universidade de Lisboa. Reconhecido internacionalmente como medievalista, Lindley Cintra foi uma figura central na renovação do Centro de Linguística da ULisboa e fez contribuições significativas em diversas áreas, como a dialectologia, gramática do português contemporâneo e a política da língua portuguesa.
A exposição, que estará patente até 31 de maio de 2025, é uma homenagem a este notável académico, político e cidadão, destacando marcos importantes da sua carreira e da sua influência na história da universidade.

The Lindley Cintra 100 Years exhibition celebrates the centenary of Luís Filipe Lindley Cintra, one of the most distinguished professors at the University of Lisbon. Widely recognized internationally as a medievalist, Lindley Cintra was a pivotal figure in the renewal of the University’s Linguistics Center and made significant contributions to areas like dialectology, contemporary Portuguese grammar, and the politics of the Portuguese language.
This exhibition, running until May 31st, 2025, pays tribute to this remarkable academic, politician, and civic figure, highlighting key milestones of his career and his influence on the history of the university.
