Concert – YIN YANG ! La Sharada
Brazilian musician and composer, born in Belém do Pará, Cleison Monteiro brings in his pronunciation the Afro-Amerindian-Amazonian argument amalgamated in his caboclo sign of riverside. Violeiro because that is how the work pulses, in the rhythmic tract particularly authentic in his creations, strings and words echo (ir)relevances and humanist needs.
In his musical career, he was the founder, composer and musical director of “Dona Quimera”, selected for the “CIRCUITO SESC de MÚSICA” (2018), in Santa Catarina / Brazil. Composer and guitarist, his work appears on the “LERO LERO TRIO EP” (2015). In Lisbon he improves his compositions and is the musical director of “Seu Monteiro e Os Carapanãs” with the rhythm of Pará guitar, an instrumental genre of his land, constituent of his creations.
In the profusion of his poetic imagination, Cleison presents the concert “YIN-YANG” together with the excellent musicians Pedro Rodrigues, on drums, and Elena La Conte, on Flutas e Voz (back vocals). This concert, colored by mestizo Grooves, walks as a voice towards the preservation and harmony between the living beings of forests and cities.
