“Arus Femia”, que em crioulo guineense significa arroz fêmea, é uma poderosa homenagem às mulheres guineenses, guardiãs de uma sabedoria ancestral – humana, espiritual e botânica. Inspirado pela força feminina e pela resistência silenciosa, o espetáculo evoca um gesto simbólico: no Novo Mundo, ao agitarem os cabelos, libertaram sementes que fecundaram a terra. Uma história que cruza memória, identidade e futuro.

“Arus Femia”, which translates from Guinean Creole as female rice, is a poetic tribute to Guinean women whose hair became storerooms of ancestral knowledge – human, botanical, and spiritual. In the New World, these women shook their heads and from their hair, seeds were released to fertilize the land… A performance that weaves memory, identity, and the future.
