DESCRIPTION:FONOVOZ • encontros de poesia sonora 21 e 22 de junho de 2024\nCuradores: Manuel Portela & Rui Torres\nPROGRAMA exposição | mesa-redonda | performance [a anunciar]\nOs Encontros FONOVOZ apresentam uma amostra da poesia sonora contemporânea na qual se reconhecem quer a diversidade formal e técnica, quer a força criativa desta prática artística e literária. FONOVOZ toma a tensão entre pré-linguístico, linguístico e pós-linguístico como critério curatorial. Se a poesia sonora pode ser descrita como um modo de usar e escutar a voz para lá da sua articulação diferencial em signos, esta perceção puramente acústica é intensificada pelo reconhecimento da presença fragmentária e decomposta da palavra. Trata-se de situar a nossa atenção nessa oscilação entre perceção fonográfica e perceção vocálica, que nos permite escutar os sons da língua e os sons da voz ao mesmo tempo. A poesia sonora oferece-nos uma arte da linguagem enquanto processo emergente da máquina fonadora do corpo humano. É essa máquina em ação que os artistas convidados nos permitirão ver e ouvir ao vivo. — ENG — The PHONOVOICE meetings present a sample of contemporary sound poetry in which both the formal and technical diversity and the creative force of this artistic and literary practice are recognized. PHONOVOICE takes the tension between pre-linguistic, linguistic, and post-linguistic as a curatorial criterion. If sound poetry can be described as a way of using and listening to the voice beyond its differential articulation into signs, this purely acoustic perception is intensified by the recognition of the fragmentary and decomposed presence of the word. It is about focusing our attention on this oscillation between phonographic perception and vocal perception, which allows us to listen to the sounds of language and the sounds of the voice simultaneously. Sound poetry offers us an art of language as an emerging process of the human body’s phonating machine. It is this machine in action that the invited artists will allow us to see and hear in live performance.
