DESCRIPTION:PT:\nEm 2018, juntaram-se os amigos Hugo Hugon (guitarra e voz) e João Cardoso (bateria) e nasceram os Too Many Suns. A semente foi lançada num estúdio nos Anjos e em poucas semanas foram criadas as cinco canções que formaram o seu primeiro EP Garden, produzido em parceria com Gonçalo Formiga dos Cave Story.\nCom a integração do baixista Vasco Rato a banda grava o primeiro LP: Meaning of Light. O disco é produzido por Miguel Vilhena nos estúdios da Pontiaq Records e é lançado em Outubro de 2020 em formato digital e K7. Este é um álbum que vive do contraste entre luz e sombras: desde o folk mais introspectivo ao pop primaveril, ou ao grunge e noise reverberante.\nO ano de 2021 trouxe um novo EP Quiet. Mixado por André Isidro no estúdio DuckTape Melodies, explora registos diferentes do que até aqui a banda tinha feito, divagando sobre viagens internas que a quietude desses anos proporcionou.\nEm 2022 nasce a parceria com Simão Reis na guitarra e teclas, e com ele novos horizontes sonoros foram criados para a construção de um novo álbum. Shortly after Too Many Suns were born. The seed was planted in a diy-studio in the heart of Lisbon, where they created the five songs of their first EP: Garden, produced with Gonçalo Formiga from Cave Story.\nAlready with Vasco Rato (bass), the band’s first LP Meaning of Light was recorded and produced by Miguel Vilhena at Pontiaq Records, and released in October 2020 in digital and K7 formats. An album that lives by the contrast between light and shadows, from the intimate folk to dreamy pop and reverberating noise.\nThe year of 2021 brought a new EP: Quiet. Recorded and produced by André Isidro at DuckTape Melodies, it explores different sound landscapes, rambling through internal voyages that the quietness of that year has allowed.\nIn 2022, the partnership with Simão Reis (guitarra e teclas) was born, and with it new sound horizons for the construction of a new album.
