Apareçam.\n◌\nArad Acid\nBerlin-based artist and producer whose work imbues cyber-shoegaze textures, club-oriented sound design, and digital ambience with both euphoria and dread. In addition to their release on Motion Ward, they have also been featured on compilations by labels like INDEX and angoisse. In 2023, they debuted their DJ Bathtime alias, whose first mixtape is a meditation on the aesthetics and atmosphere of late 90s/early 2000s mainstream electronic music and DJ culture transmuted into introspective downtempo. They also launched the label SE:CD in 2023 which looks to release “cyclical slabs of cyberentropic realms”; putting out releases by Exael, AGILITÄT and Match Fixer Their forthcoming debut album will release on 3XL later this year.\nhttps://aradacid.bandcamp.com/ https://soundcloud.com/aradacid\n◌\nUsof\nLisbon based agitator pushing the definition of “ambient music” into further convoluted territory, evolving the genre’s traditional meditative style into eerie and exquisitely rendered pieces. As well as being a musician, João Rochinha is a visual artist, DJ and event promoter, mainly dedicated to immersive and experimental music. His discography includes the new tape “Wish You Were Nicer” via enmossed and Psychic Liberation (US) preceded by four releases on the two labels he co-runs: the “Selections 0, 1 and 2” series on Rotten \ Fresh, and the “refresh” EP on surf. He also has several remixes, live recordings, mixtapes and singles out on imprints from all over the world.
