E o seu balanço, como é? Você balança? As ondas do mar te fazem balançar? Você segue uma direção ou muitas direções? O que acontece quando o nosso corpo pulsa para cá e para lá? O que acontece connosco quando o outro balança? Que energia é gerada pelo corpo quando escuta o som do mar?\nAllyson Amaral apresenta Amaré, um momento de reflexão no meio de um processo continuado de pesquisa, que se iniciou este mês com uma residência artística no contexto da apap – FEMINIST FUTURES (projeto cofinanciado pelo programa Europa Criativa da União Europeia), em coprodução com o Teatro Nacional D. Maria II e a Rua das Gaivotas 6, e em colaboração com a Companhia de Dança Lia Rodrigues e a Escola Livre de Dança da Maré.\nAo ser provocado pelo som do mar e por uma possível travessia imaginada entre continentes, o artista deixa o seu corpo e o seu soul (um jeito de balançar) navegar por imagens que ora aceleram e desaceleram, revelando camadas de um ser que é atravessado a todo o instante. Um corpo que faz de si imagens que afetam e se prolongam no tempo. Como diz a escritora Leda Maria Martins: “… toda imagem (…) nos oferece algo para pensar: ora um pedaço de real para roer, ora uma faísca de imaginário para sonhar.” E quem não pisa na terra não sente o chão. Mar é vida, pulsação. What moves us? What makes us move? What about your swing? Do you sway? Do the waves of the sea make you sway? Do you follow one direction or many? What happens when our body pulses back and forth? What happens to us when the other person sways? What energy does the body generate when it hears the sound of the sea?\nAllyson Amaral presents Amaré, a moment of reflection in the midst of an ongoing research process, which began this month with an artistic residency in the context of apap – FEMINIST FUTURES (a project co-funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe program), in co-production with Teatro Nacional D. Maria II and Rua das Gaivotas 6, and in collaboration with Companhia de Dança Lia Rodrigues and Escola Livre de Dança da Maré.\nWhen provoked by the sound of the sea and a possible imagined crossing between continents, the artist lets his body and his soul (a way of swaying) navigate through images that sometimes speed up and slow down, revealing layers of a being that is crossed at every moment. A body that makes images of itself which affect and extend over time. As the writer Leda Maria Martins says: “… every image (…) offers us something to think about: sometimes a piece of reality to gnaw on, sometimes a spark of the imaginary to dream about.” And if you don’t step on the ground, you can’t feel the ground. The sea is life, a pulse.
