DESCRIPTION:Unrealistic take over Cosmos Campolite with the finest of the Brazilian experimental spectrum São Paulo Based Kakubo (Mamba Negra/Osare) join forces with label Head MVQX, you can expect a night of avant-garde music, pushing the boundaries of traditional genres and offering a fresh perspective on sound and creativity for those curious about exploring innovative musical experiences Kakubo: Through a highly inventive splicing together of music styles and electronic genres, the São Paulo-based Brazilian artist Kakubo (they/him) delivers a heady dance stew of a trip, driven by big percussive drums, jagged techno kicks and hypnotic sub-bass frequencies juxtaposed to noisy textures that hit your ears and body. Above that, Kakubo manages to draw out extravagant sound palettes with precise sonic combinations of samples that connect cultures and times. From third-world instrumental rhythms to UK Bass, asian traditional music or avant-garde electronics, all connected by a seducing and mysterious atmosphere, deviously crafted for dancing. ​ The artist is resident of MAMBA NEGRA, the iconic queer electronic music party from São Paulo headed by Cashu and Carneosso​ (Teto Preto) known for occupying neglected urban spaces and for propelling the fights for feminine representability and sexual and gender freedom. ​ His already considerable music forays have seen perform as Live Act performer and DJ at the local underground scene and international platforms such as Red Bull Music Festival, Boiler Room, Festival Novas Frequências, Virada Cultural, Universo Paralello, CircaNSNS line up a newly released EP’s that includes Badsista and RHR, collaborations with Cashu, Valesuchi, Malka, Rakta’s Paula Rebelatto and spotlights on Elena Colombi’s label Osarè Editions. MVQX: Edvan Marques Ferreira also know as MVQX, is an electronic musician who has been producing music under various aliases, Incorporating elements of punk, industrial, and other genres into his music. He has several releases under various aliases, including “Nothing Was There”, “Top Ten”, and “Edvan”. His sound is heavily influenced by the raw energy and experimentation of 80s underground music and he’s also the head of the innovative and boundary-pushing diy electronics label Unrealistic Expectation.
