DESCRIPTION:VISITAS GUIADAS\nO PEQUENO MUNDO\n20 OUT\nQUA 18:00\n17 NOV\nQUA 18:00\n11 DEZ\nSÁB 15:00\n\nGaleria\n5€\nDuração 60 min\nEntre o conjunto das peças de numerosos artistas portugueses que compõe o universo da Coleção da Caixa Geral de Depósitos e o universo da obra de Samson Kambalu, oriundo do Malawi, quer descobrir-se a extensão do desafio do reconhecimento, da representação e da criação de mundos que se projetam na realidade de todos. Assistido pelo espírito de cerimónias indígenas centradas na dádiva, que insufla a obra de Kambalu, e levando-o a contagiar também o contato com as peças da própria Coleção, o trajeto de mediação proposto em cada exposição desta temporada pretende sublinhar essa troca entre o objeto artístico e aquele que o observa e interpreta consciente de viver uma experiência singular num ritual coletivo. Mediante diferentes dinâmicas, práticas e reflexivas, pretende-se atentar sobre se somos, como e porquê, afetados pela obra de arte e se afetamos, como e porquê, o seu significado e a sua permanência num mundo de coisas passageiras.\nMEDIAÇÃO\nBruno Marques, Nuno Bernardo e Susana Pires\n\n/////////////////////////////////////////////////////\n\nVisual Arts x Guided Tours\nGUIDED TOURS\nO PEQUENO MUNDO (THE SMALL WORLD)\n20 OCT 2021\nWED 18:00\n17 NOV 2021\nWED 18:00\n11 DEC 2021\nSAT 15:00\nGallery\n5€\nDuration 60 min\nBetween the group of pieces created by the countless Portuguese artists that comprise the universe of the Caixa Geral de Depósitos Collection and the universe of the work of Malawi-born Samson Kambalu, our aim is to discover the full extent of the challenge presented by the recognition, representation and creation of worlds that are projected into everyone’s reality. Assisted by the spirit of native ceremonies centred on the gift, which is the inspiration for Kambalu’s work, and leading him also to cause this to interact with the pieces of the Collection itself, the mediation proposed at each of this season’s exhibitions seeks to underline this interchange between the artistic object and the person observing and interpreting it, conscious of living a singular experience in a collective ritual.
