DESCRIPTION:O trio “Kora Connection”, nascido da ligação entre a Kora, tem uma antiga harpa africana de 22 cordas, e a música moderna. Fusão e contaminação que se originam de sonoridades africanas e étnicas antigas, cruzam e tocam delicadamente diferentes estilos, géneros e influências musicais, contaminam-se livremente com elementos eletrónicos, jazz e pop. Prioridade indiscutível ao ritmo, às sonoridades ancestrais, à experimentação de diferentes configurações até ao género deep, resultante da influência mútua entre kora, eletrónica, vibes e baixo elétrico. Músicos, instrumentos e caminhos musicais que partem de pontos distantes e se unem em novas e inéditas conexões.\n—-\nThe proposed band is a trio, “Kora Connection”, born from the connection between the Kora, an ancient African harp with 22 strings, and modern music. Fusion and contamination that originate from ancient African and ethnic sounds, cross and delicately touch different styles, genres and musical influences, freely contaminate themselves with electronic, jazz and pop elements. Undisputed priority to rhythm, to ancestral sounds, to experimenting with different settings up to the deep genre, resulting from the mutual influence between kora, electronics, vibes and electric bass. Musicians, instruments and musical paths that start from distant points and find union in new, unprecedented connections.\n
